This information is to provide Member Associations details related to the Registration Window functionality. This function is only accessible by the 'MA System Admin' user role.

 

Close Registration Window

When a registration window is closed, entities will not be allowed to process registration related processes of a selected role.


Open Registration Window

When a registration window is open, entities may start to process registration related processes of a selected role.


Set Registration Window

MA level users may set a particular date range to allow a certain role (i.e. MA Official, Referee, Player etc) for registration, which such registrations can only be done during the date range stated. Registrations done before or after the date range will not be allowed.


Registration windows can now be set by:

  • Gender
  • Role
  • Level
  • Sport
  • Region

What occurs when the Registration Window is Closed -  MA Admin user

  • MA users may drill down to club level to; add, renew, transfer, or loan players (if required)
  • MA users may drill down to club level to; Request For Person Details or Add New Role (if required)

 

What occurs when the Registration Window is Closed - Club, Regional Association (RA), and District Association (DA) users.

  • The 'Add Player/Coach/Referee/Official' menu is no longer accessible to Club, Regional Association (RA), and District Association (DA) users
  • The 'Request or start a transfer' menu is no longer accessible to Club, Regional Association (RA), and District Association (DA) users
  • The 'Request a player loan' menu is no longer accessible to Club, Regional Association (RA), and District Association (DA) users
  • The 'Renew Registration' button for players is no longer accessible to Club, Regional Association (RA), and District Association (DA) users
  • The 'Change Player Level' button for players is no longer accessible to Club, Regional Association (RA), and District Association (DA) users

 

New Registration behaviour while Registration Window is closed

  • It's not possible to commence a New Player/Coach/Referee/Official Registration
  • It's not possible to submit a New Player/Coach/Referee/Official Registration previously saved on the 'Incomplete Registrations' page
  • It's not possible to progress passed the 'Registration' step, if 'Start a New Registration' is used (by Club, Regional Association (RA), and District Association (DA) users)

 

Player Transfer Registration behaviour while Registration Window is closed

  • It's not possible to commence a new Transfer Request
  • It's not possible to approve an existing Transfer Request
  • It's not possible to continue with an approved Transfer Request
  • It’s not possible to submit a Transfer previously saved on the 'Incomplete Registrations' page


Add New Role behaviour while Registration Window is closed

  • It's not possible to commence an Add New Player/Coach/Official Role Request
  • It’s not possible to submit an Add New Player/Coach/Official Role Request previously saved on the 'Incomplete Registrations' page

 

Request for Person Details behaviour while Registration Window is closed

  • It's not possible to process a Request For Person Details
  • It’s not possible to submit a Request For Person Details previously saved on the 'Incomplete Registrations' page
